Please reach us at saabbookings@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Filling out the bridal booking enquiry form. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response, we will send back a quote and some additional information if you would like to book in. We will send details on how to pay the non-refundable booking fee. Once this is cleared, your date is in the diary and we can start chatting about all things bridal beauty & makeup-related!
Yes, I require a deposit of $150, and a signed contract to hold your wedding date. This is due on the date of your trial, or when ready to book and is then put towards your total invoice. The bridal trial is relaxed and it normally takes around 2 hours we work to create your perfect look for your wedding. The trial takes place at my studio for destination weddings. I can travel if possible. I always recommend my clients that bring along any images, fabrics, makeup items or ideas that they feel will give me an extra understanding of the look you are aiming to achieve
Due to high demand, we cannot reserve your date past your trial without a deposit. I often have 3-5 inquiries per wedding date during prime wedding season and highly recommend deciding that day to ensure you can book us.
Unless specified, I do not typically do day of timelines. You will have a set start time which will be determined by the number of services needed, the photographer's arrival time for “getting ready” pics and departure time. If you have multiple people in your bridal party getting services done I ask that everyone arrive at the set start time and come prepared with day-old dry hair for styling and a fresh face for makeup. The reason I do not do time slots is that everyone's hair type and desired style will be different. I like to have everyone there and ready so things go smoothly on both ends.
Yes, of course, it's your wedding day and you can do whatever you like! However, I would never use a product that I know doesn't last well or look good in photographs. I will always give my professional opinion. The best idea is to bring some of these products along to your trial and we can test some of them out then!
Absolutely. A true professional makeup application will last the full duration of your event. Not only are the eyes and skin prepared with the proper skincare and priming products, but you will be set and finished with professional powders and sprays that seal in and help fix the makeup in place. All the products in between the prepping and sealing are chosen for their longevity and high performance in all tear/sweat and weather conditions.
I have a range of premium brands in my kit and studio including Nars, Huda, Tarte, kat von d, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Mac, Becca, Vasanti, and Benefit Canada the products i use are of the highest quality, i trust them implicitly and every product has been tested to be heat, sweat, tears and champagne proof! All brands have been tested to ensure they are compatible with photographic lighting.
I always recommend purchasing your chosen lip colour. I also recommend purchasing a loose or pressed powder for touch-ups, just to control your natural oils that may peep through throughout the day. Both lipstick and powder recommendations will be given at your trial.
As far as you need me! My travel fee is based on location and distance. How soon in advance should I book my makeup services? I start booking a year and a half in advance so the sooner, the better!
Due to the extremely high volume of clients, there may be other appointments on your wedding day. If you have booked already and paid your deposit we will be there every step of your journey including the trial run and the day off. However, if I’m booked that day I will let you know ahead of time and will set you up with my team of highly specialized bridal artists. If you have scheduled to have on-location services and/or have booked on-site services after the ceremony you will be my main priority throughout the day.
Of course, I have many brides who have more than one trial. A trial is just for us to sometimes meet for the first time, see how we get along, see how I work, my products, my techniques etc. We can tweak it or change things up for the big day or at another trial. It’s very hard to get your bridal makeup 100% spot-on in one go, especially when it comes to lip colours. I always say a lipstick shade is a very personal choice, I can only ever give my honest professional opinion. But always, go with your gut!
